This 1938 Ford One Ton flatbed has been restored to original. It has the 6 volt electrical system using an 8 volt battery. It has the original 85 HP flathead V8 engine, 4 speed manual transmission, 17" wheels with new Cocker tires. It starts easily and runs well - no smoke. I have added a GM style underslung chain crank up spare tire holder. It is licensed as an "Antique" in Idaho and is insured, road worthy and fully operative. Since the Instrument cluster in new, it only registers a little over 6,000 miles. The Factory '38 & '39 trucks still had mechanical brakes, but this was retrofitted with hydraulic brakes when I bought it - they work well. The flatbed is planked with Brazilian Walnut - a very hard wood. I am using LED lights for tail & turn. Since it is Positive Ground, I have a creative way of flashing the turn signals, as LEDs cannot be "reverse polarity." We do not own this vehicle, vehicle is not located in boise. We can ship anywhere.
